Overflowing with God's Love

June 04, 2026 By ChurchFlow Team

1 John 4:7-8 (NIV)

Scripture Reference: 1 John 4:7-8 (NIV) Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. Love is a powerful force that originates from God Himself. When we choose to love others, we are reflecting the very nature of God. His love is transformative and boundless, surpassing all understanding. In our daily lives, we are called to love not just in words but in actions. Love is patient, kind, and selfless. It forgives, encourages, and uplifts. It is a beacon of light in a world filled with darkness. Practical Application: Today, let us seek opportunities to show love to those around us. It could be a kind word, a helping hand, or a simple act of service. Let us remember that every interaction is a chance to demonstrate God's love. As we pour out love, we will witness God's love overflowing in our own hearts and touching the lives of others. Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your unconditional love. Help us to love others as you have loved us. Fill us with your love so that it overflows from us onto those around us. May our lives be a testimony to your love and grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
