The Power of Forgiveness: Letting Go and Letting God

Matthew 6:14-15 (NIV)
Forgiveness is a powerful act of love and grace that sets us free from bitterness and resentment. Just as God forgives us, we are called to forgive others. In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus teaches us, 'For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.' When we choose to forgive, we release the burden of anger and pain, allowing God's healing and restoration to take place in our hearts.
Reflection
Reflect on the times when you have been forgiven by God and others. How can you extend that same grace to those who have wronged you?
