Forgiving Others Freely
Colossians 3:13 (NIV)
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Reflection
Forgiveness is a fundamental aspect of the Christian life. Just as God has graciously forgiven us, we are called to extend that same grace to others. When we hold onto grudges or refuse to forgive, we carry a heavy burden that weighs us down. Choosing to forgive releases us from the bondage of bitterness and resentment. It frees our hearts to experience peace and allows relationships to heal and thrive. By forgiving others, we reflect the love and mercy of Christ to the world. Let us strive to forgive as the Lord forgave us, showing compassion, understanding, and a willingness to move forward in reconciliation.
