Forgive as the Lord Forgave You

May 28, 2026 By ChurchFlow Team

Colossians 3:13 (NIV)

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Reflection

Forgiveness is at the core of the Christian faith. In our daily lives, we encounter situations where we may feel hurt or wronged by others. However, this verse reminds us of the importance of extending forgiveness just as the Lord has forgiven us. When we forgive others, we release ourselves from the burden of holding onto resentment and allow God's grace to work in our relationships. Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is a powerful act of love and obedience to God. It frees us from bitterness and opens the door to reconciliation and healing. Let us strive to cultivate a heart of forgiveness, reflecting the grace and mercy we have received from our Heavenly Father.
