Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to seek Your guidance and strength in understanding and embodying Your perfect love. Help us to love others as You have loved us, selflessly and unconditionally. May Your love flow through us in all that we do and say, bringing glory to Your name. Teach us to love our neighbors, even those who are difficult to love, and to forgive as You have forgiven us. May our love be a reflection of Your love for us, shining brightly in a world that desperately needs to experience Your grace and mercy. Amen.

"Overflowing Love: A Prayer Guide" is a short reflection to carry into your day. It speaks directly to the theme of love, and to the ordinary faith we live out day by day. Paul's description of love is read at weddings, but it was written for ordinary community life. Love is patient and kind; it keeps no record of wrongs. This is not a feeling to fall into but a way of living to choose, day after day, especially when it is hard. Read the passage again and replace the word "love" with your own name. Where does it stop being true? Let that be the place you ask God to grow you this week — in patience, in kindness, in letting go of the record you keep. Read 1 John 4:7-8 again slowly, and let it shape how you live today — in your family, your work, and your church community. A prayer: Lord, you are love, and you have loved me patiently.
