Forgive as the Lord Forgave You
Colossians 3:13 (NIV)
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Reflection
Forgiveness is at the core of Christian living. Just as God forgave us through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, we are called to extend that same forgiveness to others. It's not always easy to forgive, especially when we feel hurt or wronged. Yet, when we remember the depths of grace and mercy extended to us by God, we find the strength to forgive others. Forgiveness frees us from the burden of bitterness and allows us to experience the peace that comes from reconciliation. When we forgive others, we reflect God's love and forgiveness to the world around us. Let us choose forgiveness today, following the example of our Savior.
