Forgiving Freely: A Path to Freedom
Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)
Ephesians 4:32 (NIV) reminds us to 'be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.' Forgiveness is a powerful act of love that sets us free from bitterness and resentment. When we choose to forgive, we release the burden of holding onto grudges and allow God's peace to reign in our hearts. Just as God freely forgives us, we are called to extend that same grace to others. Remember, forgiveness is not excusing the hurt but choosing to let go of the pain and entrusting justice to God.
Reflection
Take a moment to reflect on any unforgiveness you may be holding onto. How can you release it today and walk in the freedom of forgiveness? Consider praying for God's help in letting go and extending grace to those who have hurt you.
