Forgive as the Lord Forgave You
Colossians 3:13 (NIV)
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Reflection
Forgiveness lies at the heart of the Christian faith. Just as Christ forgave us, we are called to forgive others. When we hold grudges or harbor bitterness, it hinders our own spiritual growth and peace. Forgiveness sets us free from the chains of resentment and allows us to experience the liberating power of God's love. By extending grace to others, we reflect the love and mercy of our Savior. It doesn't mean forgetting the hurt, but choosing to release the person from the debt they owe us. Let us practice forgiveness daily, remembering the immeasurable forgiveness we have received from God.
