Love Never Fails
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV)
Love is not just an emotion, but a choice and a commitment. It is a reflection of God's character and the foundation of our faith. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, we learn that love is patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not proud, not rude, not self-seeking, not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, rejoices in truth, always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres, and never fails. This kind of love is sacrificial, unconditional, and transformative.
Reflection
As we meditate on the nature of love described in this passage, we are reminded of God's immense love for us and called to love others in the same way. Love is the greatest commandment and the essence of Christian living. Let us seek to embody love in all our relationships, interactions, and decisions.
