Love Beyond Measure

John 3:16 (NIV)

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16, NIV) Love is the greatest commandment that Jesus gave us - to love God and love others as ourselves. This kind of love goes beyond feelings and emotions; it is a choice and an action. Just as God demonstrated His love for us through Jesus, we are called to show love to those around us. Love is patient and kind; it does not envy or boast; it is not proud or self-seeking. Let our love reflect the love that God has shown us, overflowing to all we encounter.
