Forgiveness: A Prayer Guide

Colossians 3:13 (NIV)

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you seeking your guidance and strength to walk in forgiveness. Help us to release the burden of unforgiveness and embrace the freedom that comes from extending grace, just as you have graciously forgiven us. May your love fill our hearts, leading us to forgive others as you have forgiven us. Teach us to let go of bitterness and resentment, and to choose compassion and understanding instead. We surrender our hurts, our pain, and our desire for revenge to you, knowing that true healing comes through forgiveness. Grant us the courage to forgive those who have wronged us and the humility to seek forgiveness from those we have hurt. May your mercy and grace transform our hearts and relationships, bringing restoration and reconciliation. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
