Freedom in Forgiveness

Matthew 6:14-15 (NIV)

Forgiveness is a powerful gift that God has given us. Just as He forgives us of our sins, we are called to forgive others. When we harbor unforgiveness in our hearts, it only weighs us down and hinders our relationship with God. Remember Jesus' words in Matthew 6:14-15, 'For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.' Let go of the bitterness and anger, and choose to forgive. In doing so, you set yourself free from the chains of unforgiveness.
