Strength in Times of Need
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV)
Lord, I come before you seeking strength in my weakness. Your Word reminds me that when I am weak, You are strong. Help me to rely on Your power and grace in all circumstances. Guide me to find renewed strength in You each day. Teach me to lean on Your promises when I feel overwhelmed or weary. Grant me the courage to face challenges with confidence in Your unfailing love. May Your strength be my refuge and my fortress, sustaining me through every trial. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Reflection
"Strength in Times of Need" is a short reflection to carry into your day. It speaks directly to the theme of strength, and to the ordinary faith we live out day by day. The strength Scripture promises is often made perfect in weakness. It is not the removal of our limits but God's power meeting us inside them. Those who wait on the Lord find a strength that is renewed, not merely summoned from within. Where are you running on empty, trying to be strong on your own? Admitting weakness is the doorway to receiving his strength. Bring your tiredness to God today rather than pushing through it alone. Read 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 again slowly, and let it shape how you live today — in your family, your work, and your church community. A prayer: Lord, I am weaker than I like to admit. Be my strength where I have none left, and teach me to lean on you rather than on sheer willpower. Amen.
