Walking in Grace Today

May 05, 2026 • By ChurchFlow Team

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV)

As we begin this day, let us remember that God's mercies are new every morning. His faithfulness is great, and His love for us never fails. In a world that often feels chaotic and uncertain, we can find peace in knowing that God is with us every step of the way. Today, choose to walk in faith, trusting that God will guide your path. When challenges arise, remember that you are not alone. God has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. His strength is made perfect in our weakness, and His grace is sufficient for all our needs. Take a moment to reflect on God's goodness in your life. Count your blessings, both big and small. As you go through your day, look for opportunities to share God's love with others. Your words and actions can be a light in someone's darkness.

Reflection

"Walking in Grace Today" is a short reflection to carry into your day. It speaks directly to the theme of grace, and to the ordinary faith we live out day by day. Grace is the father running. In the culture of the story, a grown man did not run — yet this father lifts his robes and sprints toward a son who wasted everything. That is the heart of God toward every person who turns home: no lecture, no probation, only welcome. Have you been keeping your distance from God, assuming you must clean yourself up first? Come as you are. And if someone has wronged you, consider whether grace — undeserved welcome — might be the braver, more Christlike response than keeping score. Read Lamentations 3:22-23 again slowly, and let it shape how you live today — in your family, your work, and your church community. A prayer: Father, thank you that you run to meet me. Help me stop earning what you freely give, and make me as generous with grace toward others as you have been with me. Amen.
