"The Heart of True Worship" is a short reflection to carry into your day. It speaks directly to the theme of worship, and to the ordinary faith we live out day by day. Worship is the heart's response to who God is. It is not confined to music or a Sunday service; it is a whole life turned God-ward — work, rest, and relationships offered back to him. We become like what we worship, so what we adore shapes who we are. What has been quietly taking God's place at the centre of your attention and affection? Worship re-centres the heart. Offer God something ordinary today — a task, a meal, an hour — as an act of worship. Read John 4:23-24 again slowly, and let it shape how you live today — in your family, your work, and your church community. A prayer: Lord, you alone are worthy. Draw my heart back to you from everything that competes for it, and let my whole life, not just my words, become worship. Amen.
