Luke 18:1-8 (NIV)
Prayer is not just a one-time request we throw to God; it is a continual conversation with our heavenly Father. Jesus encourages us to persist in prayer, knowing that God hears and answers our cries. Just as the persistent widow in Luke 18 kept coming to the unjust judge until he granted her justice, we are called to persevere in prayer. Our persistence displays our faith and reliance on God's perfect timing and will.
Reflection
Reflect on your prayer life. Are you giving up too easily when you don't see immediate answers? Trust in God's faithfulness and keep bringing your requests before Him with faith and perseverance.
