Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for Your abundant grace that sustains us each day. As we come before Your throne of mercy, help us to fully comprehend the depth of Your grace and to live in the freedom it brings. May Your grace empower us to extend forgiveness, show love, and share hope with those around us. Guide us in embodying Your grace in all aspects of our lives, reflecting Your unconditional love and compassion to others. Strengthen us to walk in Your grace, trusting in Your perfect plan for our lives. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
Reflection
"Embracing Grace: A Prayer Guide" is a short reflection to carry into your day. It speaks directly to the theme of grace, and to the ordinary faith we live out day by day. Grace is the father running. In the culture of the story, a grown man did not run — yet this father lifts his robes and sprints toward a son who wasted everything. That is the heart of God toward every person who turns home: no lecture, no probation, only welcome. Have you been keeping your distance from God, assuming you must clean yourself up first? Come as you are. And if someone has wronged you, consider whether grace — undeserved welcome — might be the braver, more Christlike response than keeping score. Read Ephesians 2:8-9 again slowly, and let it shape how you live today — in your family, your work, and your church community. A prayer: Father, thank you that you run to meet me. Help me stop earning what you freely give, and make me as generous with grace toward others as you have been with me. Amen.
