Psalm 71:14 (ESV)
In Psalm 71:14, the psalmist declares, 'But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more.' Hope in the Lord is not wishful thinking, but a confident expectation that God is faithful and will fulfill His promises. Even in our darkest moments, hope in Him sustains us and gives us strength. We can find hope in the Lord's unfailing love, His sovereignty, and His faithfulness.
Reflection
Let us anchor our hope in the unchanging character of God. As we face trials and uncertainties, may we remember that our hope is not in our circumstances but in the Lord who holds all things in His hands. When we fix our eyes on Him, our perspective shifts, and we can walk in confidence and peace.
