Luke 18:1-8 (NIV)
Prayer is a powerful tool given to us by God to communicate with Him. In Luke 18:1-8, Jesus tells a parable about a persistent widow who kept asking a judge for justice until he granted her request. This story teaches us the importance of persistence in prayer. Just like the widow, we are called to persistently bring our requests before God with faith and trust in His perfect timing and will.
Reflection
God desires us to have a consistent and persistent prayer life. When we continually seek Him in prayer, we deepen our relationship with Him and grow in faith. Our persistence in prayer demonstrates our reliance on God and His faithfulness to answer according to His perfect plan.
