Strength for Today
Psalm 28:7; 2 Corinthians 12:9; Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
In times of weakness, God offers us His strength. Just as the psalmist declares in Psalm 28:7, 'The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.' When we feel overwhelmed or inadequate, we can turn to God and draw from His infinite strength. His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and He promises to renew our strength when we wait upon Him (Isaiah 40:31). This strength is not just for physical endurance but for emotional resilience, spiritual fortitude, and mental clarity.
