A Prayer for Grace

June 19, 2026 • By ChurchFlow Team

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with grateful hearts, seeking Your presence and guidance. We acknowledge that You are the source of all Grace, and we need Your help to walk in Your ways. Lord, we pray for strength to face the challenges of this day. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit and grant us wisdom to make decisions that honor You. Help us to be patient, kind, and loving in all our interactions. We lift up those who are struggling, those who are hurting, and those who feel alone. May they experience Your comfort and peace. Use us as instruments of Your love to encourage and support others. Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your provision, and Your unfailing love. We trust in Your promises and rest in Your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Reflection

"A Prayer for Grace" is a short reflection to carry into your day. It speaks directly to the theme of grace, and to the ordinary faith we live out day by day. Grace is the father running. In the culture of the story, a grown man did not run — yet this father lifts his robes and sprints toward a son who wasted everything. That is the heart of God toward every person who turns home: no lecture, no probation, only welcome. Have you been keeping your distance from God, assuming you must clean yourself up first? Come as you are. And if someone has wronged you, consider whether grace — undeserved welcome — might be the braver, more Christlike response than keeping score. Read Philippians 4:6-7 again slowly, and let it shape how you live today — in your family, your work, and your church community. A prayer: Father, thank you that you run to meet me. Help me stop earning what you freely give, and make me as generous with grace toward others as you have been with me. Amen.
