Psalm 16:11 (NIV)
True joy is not dependent on circumstances but is found in God's presence. As Psalm 16:11 says, 'You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.' Our joy is rooted in knowing and experiencing the love and presence of God.
Reflection
When we seek joy in material possessions or earthly success, we will always come up empty. However, when we seek the Lord and His presence, we will find a deep and lasting joy that sustains us through every season of life.
