Overflowing with Gratitude

June 17, 2026 By ChurchFlow Team

Colossians 3:17 (NIV)

In Colossians 3:17, Paul reminds us to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father. Gratitude is a powerful expression of faith that transforms our perspective and draws us closer to God. When we cultivate a heart of gratitude, we acknowledge God's goodness, faithfulness, and provision in our lives. Even in the midst of challenges and uncertainties, we can choose to focus on the blessings we have received and the hope we have in Christ. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have been given. It opens our eyes to the beauty of God's creation, the love of family and friends, and the opportunities for growth and service. As we practice thankfulness daily, we experience a deep sense of joy and contentment that transcends our circumstances. Let us be known as a people who overflow with gratitude, shining the light of Christ in a world that desperately needs hope.
